Google Wave is shutting down

More than a year ago we announced that Google Wave would no longer be developed as a separate product. Back in November 2011, we shared the specific dates for ending this maintenance period and shutting down Wave. Google Wave is now in read-only mode. This is reminder that the Wave service will be turned off on April 30, 2012. You will be able to continue exporting individual waves using the existing PDF export feature until the Google Wave service is turned off. We encourage you to export any important data before April 30, 2012.
If you would like to continue using Wave, there are a number of open source projects, including Apache Wave. There is also an open source project called Walkaround that includes an experimental feature that lets you import all your Waves from Google. This feature will also work until the Wave service is turned off on April 30, 2012.

2Salam.Imbauan kepada seluruh mahasswa/i kampus Telkom.
Untuk tenang menghadapi tragedi/kasus meninggalnya salah satu mahasiswi IT Telkom td malam,
Sebenarnya di malam hari itu,kami aliansi BEM Telkom (ITT-IMT-Poltek) rapat, dan salah satu hasilnya adalah kt akan mendesak dan meminta bantuan pihak YPT utk menambah keamanan d sekitar kampus. Seperti : penerangan tambahan+pos polisi.
Namun,ternyata d malam hari setelah rapat itu selesai, kejadian meninggalnya mahasiswi tsb,terjadi.
Sehingga butuh BENAR-BENAR segera perhatian khusus thd. Keamanan ini.
Insyaallah kt sama-sama bergerak,Untuk menuntaskan kasus ini,Dan jg yg terutama untuk meningkatkan keamanan kampus dan sekitarnya.
Td saya sudah menelp. Ketua YPT langsung. Utk memnta segera meningkatkan keamanan lingkungan dengan bekerjasama dgn Polisi membuat Pos keamanan Polisi di wilayah sekitar kawasan kampus.
Dan pihak YPT sepakat, bahkan beliau menambahkan akan bekerjasama dgn RINDAM (militer) utk bs berpatroli rutin.
Waktu nya/deadline-nya kapan, beliau mengatakan harus bertemu dgn pihak2 terkait dlu utk meningkatkan keamanan,progress dan hasilnya akan segera d infokan kepada saya.
Utk penerangan tambahan ,Pihak YPT akan langsung mengeksekusi titik2 yg diminta oleh BEM utk ditambahkan penerangannya.
Lalu juga,pihak YPT dan saya pun sepakat kasus ini harus d tuntaskan..
Dari Rektor sendiri, sy belum berhasil mengontak beliau sampai saat ini..
Untuk rilis resmi sendiri, mengenai tragedinya, dr Polsek belum selesai proses penyidikan,td salah satu pengurus BEM ITT menelp-nya.
Dr BEM, segera mengadakan pertemuan dgn Lurah Citeureup-ketua2 RW-Polsek dlm waktu dekat ini. Segera diusahakan pertemuannya.kami berharap besok bs bertemu segera. Terkait mslah keamanan lingkungan sekitar.

Art of the Toilet Paper Roll by JUNIOR FRITZ JACQUET
French artist Junior Fritz Jacquet has been fascinated by paper since a very young age. Among various other paper and cardboard creations, he transforms plain toilet paper rolls into remarkable miniature masks. His technique is inspired by origami, in that it uses a single piece and folds it into a shape, but has a unique smoothness that deviates from the sharpness and jagged edges of origami, creating shapes that are astonishingly human. The masks are sculpted by hand, then coated with shellac and different pigments. A testament to the power of taking something incredibly simple and transforming it into something impressively expressive, each piece exudes a complexity of human emotion conveyed in just a few brilliantly orchestrated folds.
